Estimated Cost

I am able to provide an estimate of the overall cost of a groom for your pet, but please remember that these are estimates only. We cannot predict the level of work any pet requires until a physical assessment of their coat and behaviour is made. Additional work is charged at an hourly rate, and may be necessary due to your pet's coat condition requiring more time to deal with, or your pet's temperament meaning that I have to work more slowly to navigate them safely. Final total payment must made upon the collection of your pet, or later the same day.

Deposit

A non-refundable deposit of £20.00 will be required to secure your Dogs Grooming appointment. This can be paid in Cash or by Bank Transfer and must be paid 2 days before your appointment. If it has not been paid, it will be presumed that you no longer require the appointment and it will be offered to someone else.

Abandoned Grooms

If I am forced to abandon a groom for the safety of myself or your pet (such as due to illness, their temperament, or a high risk of injury to themselves or me), you will still be charged the full cost of the groom. There is no price reduction for incomplete grooms that are a result of human or animal health and safety concerns.

Cancellations

If you cancel your appointment with 48hrs notice or more, your deposit will be returned, if you give less than 48hrs notice, your deposit will not be returned.

No Shows

If you do not show up for your appointment, it is classed as a “No Show” and your deposit will not be returned. If you book any future appointments full payment will be requested before your appointment date.

Appointment Times: Drop off and Collection

  • Drop off: My diary is run to a tight time schedule to offer a good service. Please allow yourself plenty of time to get to your appointment on time. If you are not on time unfortunately you may be turned away and your appointment will be classed as a “No Show” (see above for definition of "No Show")
    Please do not arrive too early. I may have a dog in, waiting to be collected that is not happy around other Dogs.

  • Collection: Please collect your Dogs promptly, I do allow time to discuss your dog at the start and the end of the groom. I am a one to one groomer and try to avoid dogs from different households being at the salon at the same time, unless previously agreed by both owners.

If you do have any concerns about your appointment timings etc, please do get in touch and where possible I can of course re-arrange your booking as long as it is 48 hours Notice.
